STROUDSBURG – Police say a teen exactly fitting the description of the suspect in an armed robbery in Stroudsburg early Thursday morning was arrested Friday.  Jonathan Apolinaris, 16, was arrested at a relative’s residence about one block from the Pump-N-Pantry convenience store on West Main Street.

Apolinaris was wearing attire identical to what the suspect, captured on surveillance video, was wearing.  A handgun, matching the description of the weapon used in the robbery, was also found.

Police say he tried to flee when police arrived.

Apoolinaris is charged with robbery, theft and receiving stolen property.  He is being held in lieu of $100,000.
