STROUDSBURG – Bail has been revoked for Thomas Senavitis, the man facing charges in the crash that killed state Sen. James Rhoades last fall. Senavitis, 45, is accused of violating terms of his bail, by showing up intoxicated at a Carbon County courthouse last month. He was there for an unrelated proceeding for his wife, Dolores, 44. Dolores Senavitis is accused of assaulting a state trooper last November. Thomas Senavitis is accused of causing the head-on that killed Rhoades last November, in western Monroe County. He has denied being at fault, or that he was drunk at the time of the crash. He contends it was Rhoades’ vehicle that crossed the center line. Senativis had been free on $25,000 cash bail, related to charges in the accident. One of the conditions of bail is that he stay away from alcohol.
