Pike electronic recycling Saturday

DINGMAN TOWNSHIP – If you have dead TV set or old computer, you can get rid of it Saturday morning.  The electronic recycling event, open to all Pike County residents, is at the Dingman Township garage, on Fisher Lane, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There is a $10 per carload charge.  County officials say that is because of increased costs faced by Advanced Recovery, Inc., of Port Jervis, the company contracted by the county to do the pickup.

Items accepted include just about anything electronic: computer systems and related components (cpu, monitor, printer, modem, cables, etc.) along with TVs, radios, stereo equipment and phones.
