Pike County Court proceedings

MILFORD - Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen:

Thomas H. Dailey, age 49, of Port Jervis, New York, was sentenced to pay a fine of $500.00, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of 6 months to 1 year and have his driver’s license suspended for a period of 6 months for the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  On August 1, 2008, Dailey was in possession of Vicodin while not licensed or privileged to do so. 

Zachary John Gogolen, age 29, of Matamoras, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to pay a fine of $400.00, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of 1 month to 18 months and have his driver’s license suspended for a period of 1 year for the crime of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer.  On December 13, 2008, during a traffic stop, Gogolen fled police on Interstate 84 at a high rate of speed, nearly striking a tractor trailer while being pursued.  At the time of the traffic stop, it was discovered that Gogolen’s license and registration were suspended.  

Katherine Ann Petinko, age 29 of Milford, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to pay a fine of $1,000.00, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for 30 days to 6 months and have her driving privileges suspended for 1 year for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  On November 27, 2008, Petinko was involved in a car accident when she lost control of her vehicle and struck an embankment.  Her blood alcohol content was .151%.         

Ryan Joseph Weller, age 20 of Union, New Jersey, was sentenced to pay a fine of $300.00 along with 12 months probation and suspension of his driving privileges for 6 months for the crime of Possession of Controlled or Counterfeit Substance. On May 24, 2008, Weller, while operating an unregistered Yamaha dirt bike on SR 507 and without a protective helmet, was found to be in possession of 10.0 grams of Mushrooms and less than 30 grams of Marihuana along with a metal smoking pipe.

Serguei Boulanov, age 21 of Deland, Florida, was sentenced to pay a fine of $1,000.00 and be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for the period of 72 hours to 6 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  On August 17, 2008, Boulanov was arrested for driving under the influence and refused to consent to a chemical test to determine the alcohol concentration in his blood or breath.  

Gustave Anthony Sukhdeo, age 19 of Bushkill, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to pay a fine of $500.00, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of 30 days to 12 months and be given credit for 30 days time served for the crime of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Theft.  On March 15, 2009, Sukhdeo and his co-conspirator, Larry White, unlawfully took jewelry and a watch belonging to Tammie and Chelsey Bartro valued at approximately $950.00. 

Peter Robert O’Rourke, age 42 of Greeley, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to pay a fine of $1,000.00, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for the period of 48 hours to 6 months and have his driver’s license suspended for a period of 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence.  On September 28, 2008, O’Rourke was arrested for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .111%
