MOUNT POCONO – It could take a long time to identify the remains found just off Route 940 in Mount Pocono Thursday.  A forensic anthropologist has already been called in. 

The anthropologist should be able to determine at least the gender, approximate age and some physical characteristics. 

The victim, found by a tree cutting crew, in a wooded area a short distance off the busy road, appears to have been dead for at least a year. 

Police, meanwhile, are checking missing person reports in the region.
