MILFORD - Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen: Heather Nicolle Collins, age 22, of Bushkill, PA, was sentenced to pay a fine of $300.00, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of 2 months to 18 months and attend anger management counseling for the crime of Simple Assault. On October 13, 2008, Collins did cause bodily injury to a 7 year old girl by punching her in the face. Joseph Michael Wilson, age 24, of Sparrowbush, New York, was sentenced to pay a fine of $1,500.00, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of 90 days to 5 years and have his driver’s license suspended for a period of 18 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On November 23, 2008, Wilson was arrested for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .209%. Derek Scott Ogonowski, age 20, of Hewitt, New Jersey, was sentenced to pay a fine of $500.00, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of 2 months to 12 months and be given credit for time served since 1/20/09 for the crime of Retail Theft. On January 20, 2009, Ogonowski did remove a Sanyo camera from Wal-Mart having a value of $89.84. Paul Howard Strope, Jr., age 20, of Shohola, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to pay a fine of $1,000.00, be incarcerated in a State Correctional Facility for a period of 14 months to 5 years and be given credit for time served since 4/16/08 for the crime of two counts of Criminal Trespass. On April 15, 2008 and April 16, 2008, Strope did enter the victim’s residence by using a garage door opener from a parked vehicle to open the door to the residence. James S. Lindsley, age 27, of Godeffroy, New York, was sentenced to pay a fine of $700.00, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of 5 months to 1 year and have his driver’s license suspended for a period of 2 years for the crimes of Possession of a Controlled or Counterfeit Substance and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked. On November 6, 2008, Lindsley was arrested for being in possession of Heroin and for operating a motor vehicle while his operating privileges were suspended. William Jack Braxton, age 59 of Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to pay a fine of $500.00, be incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility for a period of 7 days to 6 months and have his driver’s license suspended for a period of 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On May 25, 2008, Braxton was arrested for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .111%. Stacey Marie Cambria, age 40 of West Nyack, New York, was sentenced to pay a fine of $2,000.00, ordered to pay restitution and was sentenced to 3 years probation with supervision transferred to another county for the crime of four counts of Forgery. On October 23, 2006, October 27, 2006 and October 30, 2006, Cambria, without the knowledge of the victim, did forge checks to purchase items at a local pharmacy. Joseph Lavoire, age 43, an inmate in the Pike County Correctional Facility, was sentenced to pay a fine of $500.00, be incarcerated in a State Correctional Facility for a period of 12 months to 2 years, consecutive to a prior conviction, for a total period of incarceration of 2 years to 7 years, for the crime of Simple Assault. On August 4, 2007, while incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility, Lavoire did bite Sergeant Hugo DeMarco in the arm/elbow causing injury which required medical treatment.
