PORT JERVIS NY – Police believe they have solved the mystery of who has been slashing tires on vehicles parked at the Metro-North train station parking lots in Port Jervis and Otisville with the arrest of an Otisville man. The Port Jervis facility, just across the Delaware River from Matamoras, is used by many Pike County commuters. Port Jervis and MTA Police Wednesday arrested Bryan Cash, 33, of Otisville and charged him with several counts of felony and misdemeanor criminal mischief. Police allege that Cash slashed the tires on 22 parked vehicles at the Port Jervis station and three parked in Otisville. Police estimate the damage at over $5,000. Cash was arrested at Port Jervis Police Headquarters.
