MILFORD - Roger Peetz, of Dingmans Ferry, was sentenced to at least two and a half years in state prison for an accident that caused serious injury to two of his young children. 

On November 5, 2008, Peetz, 40, drove a vehicle under the influence while his three children were in the car. Peetz lost control of his vehicle causing serious bodily injury to two of the children. His blood alcohol content was .16%.

Peetz was sentenced in Pike County Court to a term of 33 months to 8 years, to pay a fine of $ 2,600.00, had his driver’s license suspended for 3 years and is ordered to pay restitution for the crimes of driving under the influence, two counts of aggravated assault while driving under the influence, endangering the welfare of children, false reports, and restrictions on alcoholic beverages.
