MILFORD - The business partnership of Reza Ghassemi and James Campistrous will bring a taste of Improv Theater and fun to a Milford landmark while benefiting the United Way of Pike County. Reza Ghassemi, a hotel management consultant and managing partner in this venture, is restoring the historic Tom Quick Inn and helping to establish the area as a popular travel destination. On July 18th James Campistrous of J-Angelo Event Planning will present a production of Moishel and Calmille’s Engagement Party at this beautifully renovated Inn. Both business leaders have generously donated their time and funds for this event and all proceeds will go to the United Way of Pike County and their support of our community. “There are so many creative opportunities for individual and business donation supporting efforts like the United Way. We are very excited to be able to share our time and talent making a difference in our community while having some fun doing it”, said Campistrous. Ghassemi is one of the most respected names in the hotel management arena and believes in the full cycle of giving back to the community through non-profit support organizations like the United Way. This year Reza also established BigHeartTravel.com, the first not-for-profit on-line travel search portal with proceeds benefiting our battle-fatigued troops returning home. “We are very grateful to The Tom Quick Inn, J-Angelo Event Planning, BigHeartTravel, Elli.gant Cakes, DJ FLOW and all the performers who have generously volunteered to donate their services to this event for the United Way of Pike County”, said Christine Obser, United Way President. “This is a great night out while helping our local human service agencies alleviate hunger, homelessness, sickness and abuse right where we live". The Party is July 18th at the celebrated Tom Quick Inn from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Please bring an engagement gift of non-perishable food items to be donated to the local food pantries. Look for raffle prizes, 50/50s, special giveaways, hors d’oeuvres, cash bar and priceless memories. Tickets are $30 at the door or can be purchased ahead for $25 by calling Catherine Capasso at 296-9980. Donations of any size are always welcomed.
