Pike County EDC unveils new logo |

MILFORD - The Pike County Economic Development Authority announces the selection of a new organizational logo. Developing a logo was the next step in branding the organization as it endeavors to align its image more closely with the county it represents and the organization’s goals and activities following the adoption of its new name. It was formerly known as the Pike County Industrial & Commercial Development Authority. “The EDA’s new logo is visually representative of our community and that was very important to the members as we went through the design and selection process,” said David Farrington, Chairman of the EDA Board of Directors. The new logo, developed by local marketing firm KKPR, is already being used in the EDA’s marketing materials and will be featured on a website currently in the early planning stages. EDA is also working on a multimedia presentation for use in business attraction efforts and a series of maps showcasing the economic development assets of the area. The Pike County Economic Development Authority is a municipal corporation. The members of its Board of Directors are appointed by the County Commissioners and its activities are funded by grants, service fees and state and county taxes.
