Cron, holding plaque, accepts the award

Milford - Robert Cron was named Correction Officer of the year for 2008. Cron has been employed by the Pike County Correctional Facility since April of 1998.

Pike County Correctional Facility Warden Craig Lowe made the announcement at Wednesday’s weekly county commission meeting.

Cron’s name will be placed on a plaque at the facility and Lowe presented a plaque for Cron to personally keep.
