Teen admits tearing up baseball field with car

POCONO PINES – A 17-year-old from Pocono Pines is facing felony charges after admitting he drove a car onto a baseball field and did donuts.  The incident happened May 6, at the Pine Crest Lake Baseball Field.

Police found a piece of the vehicle that was torn off during the incident.  That led them to a suspect, who after some questioning, admitted that he, and another 17-year-old, from Blakeslee, did the damage.

Police are not identifying either teen, because of age.  Only the teen who was driving is being charged.  Because damage totaled almost $9.000, he is charged with felony criminal mischief and trespass with a motor vehicle.
