Major marijuana factory raided

BLOOMING GROVE – A half million dollar marijuana growing operation was raided this morning, and one man is in custody.

A State Police Special Emergency Response Team and detectives from the Pike County District Attorney’s office executed a search warrant at 6 a.m., at 162 Hilller Road in Blooming Grove.  That’s the residence of Kennety Kraeger, 59, who was arrested.

Police found a hydroponics growing operation in the basement.  Seized was about 80 pounds of processed pot, worth about $200,000 on the street, and about 1,000 marijuana plants with a street value of $250,000.  Also seized was $26,000 in cash.

Kraeger is charged with manufacture of marijuana, possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He will be arraigned at a later date.
