HONESDALE – State Police in Wayne County say they are investigating an apparent phone scam, claiming to raise money for the family of slain state trooper Joshua Miller, killed in Monroe County last June.

No such solicitation is going on or has been authorized.

The person making the calls claims to be a trooper.

Anyone receiving such call is asked to contact the Honesdale barracks at 570-253-7126.
