EAST STROUDSBURG – A man, who apparently stepped in front of a car on Washington Street, Sunday evening, was seriously hurt.  

The accident happened about 7:30 p.m.  Washington Street remained closed for several hours following the accident, and police are still investigating.   No charges have been field.

The driver of the four-door sedan stopped.  He sustained some minor injuries. A passenger in the car was not hurt.
