SMITHFIELD TWP – A pedestrian reportedly was struck and killed, about 6 pm Monday, while walking along Route 611.  The identity of the victim, an adult female believed to be in her 20s, has not been released. 

Route 611 was closed for about two hours, but reopened about 8 pm.
