Halloween shooting suspect to go to trial |

POCONO PINES – The man accused of injuring four people outside a well-attended house party early November 1, was ordered to stand trial, by a district magistrate. Dheklan John, 22, of Tobyhanna allegedly returned to the party, after being denied entrance by the father of the party’s host. That’s when the shots were fired and four people, outside the house in Emerald Lakes in Long Pond, were wounded. As the hearing was about to take place, Thursday, police arrested John’s acquaintance, Joseph Crossdale, 24, of Tobyhanna. Police had a warrant for Crossdale, based on allegations he helped a third person to concoct a false alibi for John. Thursday’s hearing was disrupted, several times, by family and friends of john, who were frequently yelling profanities both outside and in the courtroom. |
