STROUD TWP – A Stroud Township man is being held on attempted murder charges after stabbing his father, several times, Monday morning, at their home on Horizon Drive.

Police arrested Gerald Neil, Jr., 24, following the dispute that ended in violence.  Gerald Neil, Sr, 54, is reported in critical condition, following emergency surgery. 

What led to the stabbing is unknown, but reports are the two have had problems. 

Bail for Gerald Neil Jr., was set at $100,000.
