MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP – An Easton man and his teenage daughter died when their motorcycle left the road and hit a tree, Sunday evening. Police identified the victims as Timothy Lambert, 47, and Taylor Lambert, 16.

The accident happened about 6:00 p.m. on River Road.  Police say both victims were wearing helmets.

Lambert reportedly was a retired Easton police officer.
