STROUDSBURG – After deliberating for several hours, a jury convicted Jason Koehler of murder in the death of two people in 2004.  Koehler, 42,  was found guilty of  thred degree murder for killing Jason Gray, 19, and first degree murder, for the death of Jennifer Cullinan, 42, who owned the home where the shootings happened. 

The jury returns to court Thursday morning to convene the death penalty phase of the case.

Koehler was also found guilty of attempted murder and aggravated assault for shooting a third person. 

Koehler maintained the shootings were self-defense.
