Honesdale man guilty of burglarizing church

Honesdale – A man who allegedly broke into a church last Christmas Eve, was convicted in a non-jury trial. A judge in Honesdale found Jonathan Hill, 27, guilty of the charges.

Hill broke into St. John’s Lutheran Church and stole several items.  A cap, left at the scene, was a key piece of evidence.

Hill will be sentenced in October.
