The historic Roebling Bridge is one of the attractions along the Upper Delaware

Narrowsburg NY – Information on New York State Route 97’s Upper Delaware Scenic Byway may now be obtained through a toll-free hotline – 1-866-511-8372 (UDSB) – that went into service on September 1.

Callers may request copies of the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway Travel Guide, a 20-page color brochure that offers maps of the state-designated byway route, historical overviews of the byway communities, and a description of amenities.

They can also direct questions or comments to the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway, Inc. (UDSB) non-profit organization responsible for the enhancement of the byway corridor.  

Telephone answering services are being provided by the Village of Hancock, the UDSB Northern Gateway member municipality, through an agreement with Upper Delaware Scenic Byway, Inc. The hotline will be staffed during normal weekday business hours; messages may be recorded at all other times.

A 24-hour resource of information is also available through the byway’s comprehensive website at www.upperdelawarescenicbyway.org.

The approximately 70-mile-long, signed byway route passes through the counties of Delaware, Sullivan, and Orange, providing a linkage between Route 17/I-86 and I-84, and largely paralleling the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River.
