Man gets long sentence for firing at police during raid

Stroudsburg – Michael Albertson, Jr, will spend 12 to 24 years in prison for firing a shot at the door of his apartment during a police raid.

Albertson, Jr, 29, of Kunkletown, pled guilty to aggravated assault in conection with the June 2006 incident.  He had been charged with attempted murder. 

No one was hit when he fired a shot at the door of his basement apartment, when police were trying to enter on a warrant as part of an investigation into an earlier case
