Hamlin – State Police were able to quickly apprehend a suspect in the shotgun robbery of a Joe’s Kwik Mart on Route 520 in Hamlin, Tuesday night. 

Justin Rakosnik, 20, of Moscow, was captured after a short foot chase.  He had entered the store with a sawed off rifle, demanded money and a carton of cigarettes then fled.

Rakosnik is in the Wayne County jail.
