Stroudsburg - The Monroe County Chapter of the League of Women Voters questionnaire for their “Voters Guide – November, 2007 Municipal Election” will be mailed on September 28th, 2007 to all candidates running in Pike County for the following offices:  Commissioner, County Row Offices, Magisterial District Judge, School Director, Township Supervisor, Mayor, Borough Council Member, Tax Collector and Sheriff. 

The questionnaire will be mailed to the address that appeared on the candidate’s filing petition. Candidates whose mailing address is different from the one listed on the petition should contact Carole DeMarco immediately at (570) 646-0800.  Likewise, if a candidate does not receive the questionnaire in a timely manner, and wishes to be listed in the guide, which is distributed throughout Monroe and southern Pike County, he or she should contact Ms. DeMacro directly. 

Candidates’ responses must be postmarked by October 6th, 2007, or may be faxed to the Hughes Library in Stroudsburg by that date.
