Chestnuthill Township – A one-car crash Tuesday night killed the driver, who was alone in the car.  Harry Fisher, 56, of Lehighton, lost control of his car on a curve on Route 715, about 9:20 pm.  The small Ford Focus hit a tree head-on, between Hillside Terrace and Smith Hill Road.

Fisher, who was wearing a seatbelt, was declared dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
