Harrisburg – The Pocono Environmental Education Center has been awarded a $9,700 grant to be used for staff to design and present a workshop called “Integrating Environmental Education Across the Curriculum” to be presented to 60 educators. The workshop will focus on meeting learning standards through hands-on activities, lectures and field experiences.

The grant was announced by State Rep. John Siptroth, D-Monroe/Pike, who applauded PEEC for being selected to receive the grant from the state Department of Environmental Protection.
