Paradise Township – More than 2,500 slot machines are now in place at Mount Airy Casino Resort, scheduled to open in less than three weeks.  The final slots were delivered this week, and are being tested.

Mount Airy hopes to open the casino only on October 15, if everything is ready and all certifications are obtained.

Other components of the resort, including the hotel, should open by the end of the year.
