Hanna brings much-needed rain, not much more |
||||||
POCONOS – A few isolated power outages appear to be the only problems caused by Tropical Storm Hanna, which drenched the region Saturday. The rain was desperately needed. Rain totals averaged between one and two inches. PPL reported about 10,000 customers without power at some point, including about 2,700 in the Dreher Township area of Wayne County, who were without power for about three hours Saturday afternoon. Many events were cancelled or postponed, including the Pike County Library Picnic, rescheduled for today, 11 – 3, at the site of the planned new library on east Harford Street in Milford. |
