BLOOMING GROVE – A trucker from Texas is in the Pike County Jail after being stopped on Interstate 84, and found in possession of an unpermitted weapon.

Eddie Coney, 57, of Van Horn TX, was stopped after troopers noticed erratic driving.  Troopers determined he was driving under the influence of alcohol.  He admitted carrying the firearm without a permit.

Coney is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.

The incident happened Sunday.
