COOLBAUGH TOWNSHIP – Charges are pending against two occupants of a car stopped for traffic violations on Kings Way in Tobyhanna, early Tuesday morning

Police observed marijuana in plain view in the 2004 Jaguar, occupied by Ryan Martin, 20, of East Stroudsburg, the car’s owner, and Kendal Edwards, 21, of Brooklyn.  Also in the car were packaging material, a digital scale and an unspecified amount of cash.

Police say all signs are consistent with drug sales.  The items, and the car, were seized. 

The district attorney’s office continues to investigate.
