HARRISBURG - Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program funding of $1 million will be released to the Pike County Library System for the construction of a library and headquarters.

"This funding is the result of three years of my advocacy on behalf of Pike County, and I am very pleased to now be able to present this grant to help establish a new library," State Rep. John Siptroth, (D-Monroe/Pike) said.

Siptroth said libraries remain essential resources for the community, especially in rural areas like Pike County.

"I look forward to seeing this project completed so that local residents can benefit  from the numerous services that will be available at the new facility," he said.
