LEHMAN TOWNSHIP – Police have charged a Bushkill man with several crimes in connection with three burglaries in Saw Creek Estates earlier this month. 

Giovanni Santiago, 18, allegedly committed the crimes between August 1 and 3, at three residences on Saunders Drive.  During one of the burglaries, the occupant arrived home, causing Santiago to flee.  He left behind some personal items, including identification.

Santiago was later located at his parent’s home.  Police say he was arrested and eventually confessed.

Charges include two counts each of burglary, theft by unlawful taking and criminal trespass, and single counts of attempted burglary and possession of marijuana.

Santiago is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
