Hernandez

STROUDSBURG – Police have charged a Tobyhanna man, and his mother, in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl.

Gilbert Santiago, 21, is accused of having sex with the girl, over a two-year period.  He reportedly fathered a child with her. 

His Mother, Monserrate Hernandez, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.  Police allege Hernandez was aware of her son’s contact with the girl, and allowed it to continue.
