GREENE TOWNSHIP – Fire gutted a home on Hemlock Grove Road in Greentown Wednesday afternoon.  No one was injured.

The owner had stepped out, briefly, when the fire broke out about one in the afternoon.  Dozens of firefighters responded, from several companies in three counties.  They kept the fire from spreading, but damage is extensive.

There is no word on a cause of the fire.
