Mitchell

STROUD TOWNSHIP – Police continue the search for Anthony Mitchell, who could now face muder charges after the man he allegedly shot Sunday morning died. 

The shooting took place outside a dance hall at the Eagle Valley Mall in Stroud Township, about 5 a.m. Sunday.  Police say Mitchell, 29, of East Stroudsburg, allegedly shot Casheem Gains, apparently following a dispute in the dance hall. 

Gaines was found wounded and unconscious in the parking lot.  He died Monday at Pocono Medical Center.

Mitchell is believed to be either in the area, or possibly in New York City.
