PALYRA TWP (Pike) - Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Sunoco station on Route 6, near Lake Wallenpaupack, about 9:50 Monday evening. 

A lone male, with a handgun, took a large amount of cash and coins from the cash register, then fled, on foot, through the rear of the store.  The suspect is about 6’, medium build, wearing black hooded sweatshirt, dark sunglasses, a bandanna over his face, and faded blue sweatpants.
