EAST STROUDSBURG - Kathy Kuck, President & Chief Executive Officer of Pocono Health System/Pocono Medical Center (PHS/PMC) recently announced the PHS/PMC Board of Directors for fiscal year 2010.  Gary Olson, President & CEO, ESSA Bank & Trust, has become the new Chair of the Board.  He has assumed the role from Darell Covington, MD, Colon and Rectal Surgeon. 

"I would like to thank Dr. Covington for his dedication and leadership as Chair of the Board," says Kuck.  "During his time as Chair, we continued to move forward in our quest to deliver quality healthcare, close to home by opening our comprehensive ESSA Heart and Vascular Institute, obtaining a Level III Trauma designation, and launching a new spine surgery program, among many other fine achievements."
